The Shell Petroleum
Development Company Limited JV in collaboration with the Federal Road Safety
Corps is pleased to announce the commencement of the 2013 edition of the
National Safety Competition amongst Senior Secondary School Students in Nigeria.
The competition aims to
support the development of school children's general and road safety knowledge
as well as encourage national focus on child safety in Nigeria.
THE COMPETITION IS IN TWO
STAGES:
STAGE 1:
* Registration forms for
schools are available at all FRSC offices nationwide
* Closing date for
submission of filled forms at 4:00 pm on 4th October 2013
* A written examination
will hold simultaneously in the 36 states and the FCT
* 2 students shall represent
a school. The average of the students' score will be the school score
* Closing time for
accreditation at the exam venue is 11:00 AM
STAGE 2:
* Table quiz competition to
hold in Abuja- FCT
* To include the two
students from each of the six (6) qualifying schools from stage 1
* Participants are to
arrive the competition location on 31 October 2013
* Prizes shall be given to
both the individual students and the top three schools
