A PRESS RELEASE OF YOMI OTUBELA FOUNDATION

 A   PRESS  RELEASE  OF YOMI OTUBELA FOUNDATION(THE OWNER OF LAGOOZ SCHOOLS) IN RESPECT OF THE JUST CONCLUDED YOF SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION 2016.

The Yomi Otubela Foundation (The Owner of Lagooz Schoools) Scholarship Examination 2016 took off at various centres across the country onk Saturday, 18th of June, 2016. Over 200 candidates across the country participated in the examination. The centres selected for the examination nationwide incuded Lagos, Ibadan, Enugu, Rivers, Abuja, Gombe and Kano. At the end of the first round of the examination, 25 students were shortlisted for the 2nd round of the examination which was conducted in the Lagos centre. Successful candidates were then shorlisted for oral interviews thereafter and at the end of the interviews, 7 students were eventually selected for the scholarship.

In his remark, the Founder of the Yomi Otubela Foundation who also doubles as the proprietor of the Lagooz Schools, Iyana Ipaja Lagos urged the successful candidates to be focused in their academics in order to take the advantage of the scholarship. One of the parents of the awardees Mr & Mrs  Sonaike, who was full of joy, thanked the founder of the Yomi Otubela Foundation for instituting such a wonderful scheme to help academically sound students to fulfil their ambition of securing qualitative education. One of the awardees, Master Somide expressed his happiness for securing the scholarship. The Public relations officer of the Foundation, Miss Tosin Oke admonished the succesful candidates not to be distracted in their academics so as to take the full benefits of the scholarship while advising the unsuccesful candidates not to be discouraged but make early preparations for the future examination. Chief Yomi Otubela, the founder of Yomi Otubela Foundation (The Owner of Lagooz Schools) in his final note thanked the team of YOF who worked tirelessly to make sure  the maiden edition of YOF Scholarship Examination was a success and announced that the registration for next year 2017 edition of YOF Scholarship examination  would commence on the 1st of December, 2016.
