INTRODUCTION.
Chief Abayomi
Folurunsho Otubela(FCMA), the CEO of Yomi Otubela Foundation and current National Deputy President of NAPPS, has resolved to award full scholarship (Day
and Boarding) to qualified pupils /students of public and private schools
within Nigeria in order to accomplish one of the major goals of the Foundation
The YOF scholarship
is open to candidates who are willing to study in Lagos State, in Lagooz
Schools. Lagooz Schools, founded in 2005, prepares students and pupils for Nigerian
and British Curriculum as well as character building of her learners.
OBJECTIVES.
1 To contribute meaningfully towards education
in Lagos in particular and Nigeria in general.
2. To arouse the
spirit of academic competition among primary and secondary school children.
3. To re-emphasize the importance of
Mathematics as a necessary tool for
problem solving.
4 To support public and private schools in the
drive to give education a qualitative status.
5. To support the less privileged learners in
acquiring qualitative education which equips them for favorable competition in
the global society
ELIGIBILITY
1. Candidates must
be an 'A' pupil or student of Mathematics (scores 75% and above)
2, Candidates must
forward scanned document of first and second terms 2015/2016 result as evidence
of their Mathematical efficiency.
3 Candidates must be a Nigerian by birth or
parentage.
4. The minimum age
of each candidate must conform with the Examination category they are applying

HOW TO APPLY.
1. Application form for YOF scholarship 2016 can be obtained
and completed online @ www.yomiotubelafoundation.org
2. The application
form consists of 3 sheets A, B and C. Sheet A is to be completed by the
candidate, sheet B by his/her parent. And sheet C to be completed by a clergy
man or a reputable citizen
3. Candidates who are shortlisted after the results are out
must come to Lagos with the following:
(a) Birth
Certificate
(b) Original copies
of results of first and second term of 2015/2016 session.
(C) Local
government Certificate of Origin.
NOTE:
(I) Candidates for
the examination must arrive the venue an hour ahead of the examination for
adequate verification and briefing.
(II) All candidates
for the final stage (interview in Lagos) shall be provided free accommodation
TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
1. Eventual winners of the YOF scholarship have the option
of becoming Full boarding pupil/student and will still get everything FREE.
2. All Candidates
must bring the Original copies of the following for perusal, on or before 18/6/'16.
(a) Birth Certificate
(b). Copies of first and second term
results
(C) 4 colored personal passport photographs
(d) Local government certificate of Origin
3. Parent/guardians
should make themselves available for interview on a date that will be chosen by
the YOF Scholarship committee to ratify certain issues with shortlisted
candidates.
4. In the event
that the YOF Scholarship Committee discovers that information provided by the
applicant is inaccurate or that one of the submitted documents has been
falsified, such candidate is immediately disqualified.
5. The decision of
the YOF Scholarship Committee is final
6. Awarded
candidates must, however, maintain his/ her 'A' status (to score above 70% in
Mathematics) in order to retain the scholarship status through his/her study in
primary and secondary schools.

EXAMINATION SYLLABUS
The YOF scholarship
questions shall be set using schemes from Nigerian National Curriculum.
