LAGOOZ CAREER DAY 2011

Lagooz Career Day  2011
Date:  7th – 9th June, 2011
   Time:  10am prompt  
   Venue: Lagooz School Auditorium, 11&12  Omotoye Estate Road, Orile  Agege, Near NYSC Camp, Iyana -Ipaja-Lagos.

Activities:
- Career Counselling:  Choosing the right Career’’
- Debate (‘The home, and not the school, is responsible for the unruly behaviour  of teenagers in the society’) the first school to arrive will be opposing the motion against Lagooz.
Quiz
- Impromptu
- Spelling Bee
- Comedy (jokes) competition
BACKGROUND
*Lagooz Schools, in his craving for nothing but excellence, will be hosting students from various schools in Lagos State and beyond in order to sensitize the students on the appropriate steps to the right choice of career.

*The Career Day will give students an uncommon opportunity to effectively harness their potentials for a result-oriented leap into the future.

*The Career Day has been designed to accommodate opinions from various men and women of integrity and knowledge who would divulge the secrets of careerism

 *It will involve career talks and seminars from ebullient and resourceful fellows whose contributions to society have turned situations around for good.


OBJECTIVES
1. The Career Day will aim at bringing students from different schools together to share knowledge and compete with one another on different aspects of academics and career choice.

2. It will seek to address issues bordering on academic and social competitions and add an online category so as to support the local educational community and improve classroom instruction that will enhance the choice of career

3. Besides, it will look into the strategic goals and objectives of the society, utilize them for widespread educational outreach whose impact may culminate in award of scholarships for excellent performance among pupils and students.
 
4. The occasion will be geared towards improving and increasing the students’ and pupils knowledge about the right choice of career in future.

5. It will open up the challenges on the path to career choice and proffer solutions to them.
