Attention:

Parents/Guardians

SECOND TERM VACATION

I write to inform you that the second term’s vacation begins on Monday 4th April, 2011. The reason is that the students have finished their second term examination successfully and the teachers are very  busy marking and collating results.

Again, although some students are on excursion to Ghana, many students are engaged in the preparation for the forth-coming Lagos State Children’s Carnival coming up on 25th April, 2011. Consequently, their rehearsal is on top gear to ensure a successful outing. Therefore, the teachers are busy giving finishing touches to the preparations for this memorable occasion.

Besides, the SS3 and JSS3 students are revising their various subjects and conducting practicals in preparation for the SSCE / JSSCE which has already started in a nutshell. Teachers are devoting much of their time for this important exercise to ensure that our students come out with flying colours.

Moreso, we have taken into consideration the volatile and unpredictable nature of the electioneering campaigns and the election proper and have concluded that children should be protected.

In the Primary/Nursery School, pupils that have not submitted their projects should do so because the report booklet cannot be compiled without the project marks. For the Primary School Readers’ Club, we appeal to our parents whose children/wards still have their story books with them at home, to return such to the school immediately. Again, in the Primary School Section, some of our pupils are representing the school in an interhouse sport invitation relay competition. We, therefore, appeal to their parents to allow the selected athletes be in school by 9:00 am on Thursday 7th April, 2011.

However, the students in the college and pupils in the Nursery/Primary School should report at the school for the collection of their second term’s result booklet on Thursday 7th April, 2011 by 10 am. Please ensure that your child/ward complies with this instruction.  Third term begins on 3rd May, 2011 because  of May Day on Monday, the 2nd of May 2011

            Thanks for your cooperation.
